If something in Project Issue should not be displayed, there is a direct route to a human review.

01

Project Issue edits references

A public Issue should contain original editorial writing, clear attribution, an original source link, and only material permitted by the source's publication policy. Private captures, extracted article bodies, documents and transcripts are not intended to be public merely because an Issue is shared.

02

Who can request review

A copyright owner, publisher, creator, authorized representative, or person whose private material appears in the service may request review. You do not need a Project Issue account.

03

What to include

Identify the original work or private material, provide the Project Issue URL and the original source URL, explain your relationship to the material and the action requested, and include your name, contact details and an electronic signature. For a copyright claim, also state your good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized and that the information supplied is accurate.

04

What happens next

We will acknowledge a complete request, preserve the request for review, and restrict or remove material when appropriate. We may ask for missing details or notify the publishing user. Urgent privacy or safety requests should say URGENT in the subject line.
