Support / Capture should disappear
Keep it close.
Then leave it
alone.
The native app is infrastructure. These are the few moments where that infrastructure may need your attention.
Project Issue is missing from Share
Open the iOS share sheet, move the app row all the way to More, then choose Edit. Add Project Issue to Favorites and drag it near the front. Apple owns the share-sheet order, so the app cannot force this step. Onboarding stays incomplete until the Share Extension completes one real save.
Pair a phone or browser
Sign in on the Web and open Capture devices. Create a code for that device and paste it into the iOS app or Chromium extension. A code is shown once, stored as a protected credential on the device, and can be revoked from the same Web page at any time.
Five saves, but no Issue yet
Issue #001 unlocks after five unique, readable sources—not merely five taps. Duplicate links count once. A source still being processed is pending; a blocked page with only a title is limited and does not shape the edit yet. Keep sharing while Project Issue reads quietly. The app shows SAVED and READ separately.
What Project Issue can read
Public articles, newsletters, text PDFs and supported source metadata are read on the server. Sharing from Safari can add the visible page text you already have permission to view. Image and scanned-PDF text is recognized on your iPhone. X, YouTube and other video links keep their attribution and use captions or an authorized transcript when available. Restricted media remains linked rather than invented.
The Issue is short on purpose
The publication selects and connects a finite set; it is not a full-text copy of every source. Owners can open the private Source Reader for captured article text, post text or transcripts when available, and can always follow the original link. Public Issues expose editorial cuts, attribution and permitted excerpts—not the private reader.
Privacy, devices, and leaving
Read the privacy policy, disconnect a single device at Capture devices, or permanently delete the complete Project Issue account at Account & privacy. Deletion is also available inside the paired iOS app. For a problem you cannot resolve, email payphone1402@gmail.com. Rights holders can use the copyright and removal process.
