Privacy choices / Public guide

Your input.
Your Issue.
Your exit.

Read every choice before signing in. Project Issue keeps the explanation public and puts account-specific controls behind authentication.

01

Choose what becomes public

Saves and new Issues are private by default. Issue visibility is controlled at publication level: private, unlisted, or public. Public Issues expose the editorial object, attribution, permitted excerpts, and original links—not your private captured source bodies, uploads, transcripts, or OCR text.

02

Keep optional AI editing off—or revoke it

The optional AI editor remains off until you give separate permission. You can disable future transfers from Account & data. Revoking permission does not publish private material and does not remove Issues already produced; you can delete those Issues or the complete account separately.

03

Disconnect capture infrastructure

Revoke any paired iPhone or browser credential without deleting the account. Notification permission is controlled in Apple Settings. Disconnecting a device prevents future capture from that credential but leaves existing Saves and Issues in your account.

04

Ask for access, correction, or removal

For a request that cannot be completed in the product, use the public rights and privacy request form. No Project Issue account is required, and every complete request receives a receipt number for human review.

05

Delete the complete account

Permanent deletion removes the live Project Issue account graph, including Saves, extracted source content, uploads, Issues, relationships, paired devices, cohort data, and linked product events. It is available on the Web after sign-in and inside a paired iOS app without contacting support.
